ABOUT ZOË

Zoë has been passionate about acting and singing since the tender age of three. She
began performing in local productions, completed her Guildhall drama exams, won
junior championships at both Worthing Festival and Brighton Festival, had main roles in
Sussex Youth Theatre and school productions and then became the youngest member
in the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain at the age of fourteen.

Professionally she has acted for television, film, voiceovers and theatre and most
recently had a role in the upcoming Amazon Prime film ‘Seaside Town’, by
sixty6media. She has also toured singing, and sung at private events and gigs.
She holds a BA (Hons) in Theatre Arts and a post graduate diploma in The Therapeutic Use
of the Arts.

She has taught both privately and mainstream for 18 years, from secondary schools,
to stage schools, from academies to one-on-one tuition. Including recently teaching at
the Pauline Quirke Academy and directing their west end performance, and for ACT

PLAYTIME DRAMA

"KEEPING THE PLAY IN PLAY"

Zoë began Playtime in 2012. Her objective is to use play,

creativity and imagination to deliver fun workshop

sessions to schools or individually, and if required as a
therapeutic tool. She has held sessions for SEN children

and adults overcoming difficulties.

Playtime sessions include role play, characterisation, interactive storytelling and imaginative play.

Playtime offers after school clubs, supply/ppa cover in schools, one off themed days in school holidays, adult workshops, themed birthday parties and therapeutic sessions. The benefits are endless and play supports development of social skills, speaking and listening, communication, confidence building and working with others.

PNYT (Peacehaven and Newhaven Youth Theatre)

"Your local, friendly drama club with a professional touch"

Zoë thought up the idea of a local youth theatre, as there

is none, nor has been, for children in her local area in

the past.

The youth theatre provides acting and singing training and the students will cover work on: film and TV, acting, theatre production, musical theatre performance and will prepare for group exams and festivals. With twice yearly productions.

The aim for 2019 is to begin a PNYT agency and begin the PNYT choir!

English and interview technique.
